Handhelds suffer from the same problem as PC few years back HDD read/write is slowing them down, as if one would travel a ferrari through a molten tar. Most crap on the market today has class 2 or class 4 speed ratings. the only way to reduce this problem is to buy a class 6 microSD. Only technical problem to fix is the data transfer between MicroSD/MicroSDHC cards and the device itself, because this is a bottleneck. Since FO2 needs also windows installed on the emulator, I reckon the first one Playable on handhelds Is going to be FO1 via dosbox.Īnd actually the time (I think) for it is now current top notch mobiles have dual core 1,2GHz/1,5GHz CPU and 1 gig of ram plus graphic's accelerators. The way I see it: no direct ports of Both FO1& FO2 so the best bet is emulation. I could say it should be considered "basic mod set for FO1" and it all works in DOSĪs for Restoration & FIXT mods I'm not sure but probably they don't have DOS support.Īlso I'd like Fallout on handheld devices very much. So to clarify: children TeamX 1,2 TeamX 1,3,x NPCmod 3,x,x *DO* work in DOS version So practicly it adds support for TeamX stuff. Skynet so he'd update his children's patch for Fo1 to have DOS support.(Falloutw.exe from his patch is the same as used in TeamX's 1,2 update patch). I've even drilled a hole in NMA's guy a.k.a. Am 100% sure that latest TeamX unofficial patches, and NPC mod work well.
